Well, having slipped out of fandom via the backdoor, I took a rather definite step and deleted the first 7 seasons of SPN episodes off my hard drive. I haven't actually watched S8 or 9 properly yet. Plus I own 1 - 7 on DVD. It was kind of sad as it is more a statement that there won't be any more fandom shenanigans from here on in. That's it, no more vid making or at least not for SPN. It's a weird feeling and SPN has and probably will be the only fandom I'll ever get so involved in with making vids, writing fics, doing art and attending cons and meeting actors (I will never forget how good Jensen smelled)

So it's back to the days of just being a fan like with Buffy and X files and whatever else I used to watch. At the moment I have some new favourite shows that I wouldn't dream of missing those currently stand at 3 must watch every week no putting it off until tomorrow shows: Teen Wolf, The 100 and The Walking Dead. I have a few others I'm watching or had been until they were cancelled, but I can take or leave them in terms of having to watch straight away and clawing at the screen for the next ep.

Anyway, I hope you are all keeping well and having fun. I'll hopefully stop by for another random visit in the future.

So, super big hugs and smooches

H x

It's been a long time but finally, I've made a new vid. I miss being in fandom and making things lol  For my new obsession I give you a Teen Wolf video.

Hi guys,
This is a few days warning about a story I've turned into original fiction and submitted today. The story was originally a short one off J2 summer story called Sex and Cocktails. If you would like a copy please DL from http://www.mediafire.com/?iy1zxnq1qwn or http://www.4shared.com/document/yYtGGH7s/Sex_And_Cocktails_by_hay1ock.html Or you can read it here http://h1k-my-words.livejournal.com/21657.html. The links will be removed at the weekend.  Thanks again for all your support.

Daryl Dixon from The Walking Dead

I'm not sure there's much to say about this guy except he is the most awesomest guy to have ever awesomed. Seriously, if there was one guy you'd want in your 'I've survived the zombie apocalypse' Team, this is the guy. And he has a crossbow and a motorbike!!! Too shallow?

I love how the character has developed over the two series. From being someone who was slightly on the outside of the group, to being someone many have come to rely on, it has been great to see. He has his gentle moments and his dark moments. He's strong, a surviver of his situation and his past. I like his relationships on the show - his loyalty to Rick, his support of Carol (I would love to see that go somewhere lol), his teasing of Glenn and the shadow of his brother that is still there. He isn't perfect, but then no one is on the show. They are all flawed in some way. I hope we get to see more of him in Season 3. :)

The first post in my 100 Movies/TV Shows/Books ~ My Favourite Characters. I think most will be coming from TV shows and movies, but we will see. The majority of the characters will be pretty modern, though there are a few older ones I've thought about. This is my first choice as I watched this movie at the weekend with my mum. It was an interesting film to watch, so let me introduce you to...
  The Woman from The Woman
So this is The Woman. She is the surviving member of a violent, feral clan, hurt and alone in a forest. A lawyer finds her, captures her, shackles her up in his basement and claims to want to civilise her with the help of his family. Her story, though pretty horrid, kept me interested throughout. The fact that she was able to be this violent thing we should be scared of, and also be vulnerable and tormented at the hands of certain family members was fascinating. The actress did a good job to portray that, especially as The Woman only really communicated through growls, broken english/unknown words and the look on her face and in her eyes. The other characters, especially my hate of the dad of the family also aided in my love for the character, I just wanted her to rip his face off. Her story was pretty slow going, interlocked with the family and each of their little side dramas, but I felt it delivered a satisfactory, and grisly end. In a weird way she was quite a beautiful character, and certainly a strong one.
