Hello. I’m Nick, and I run HandPressed. I’ve been making websites and administering web servers for over 20 years. These days I specialize in WordPress website design, development and hosting. I’m based on the Isle of Purbeck, in Dorset, UK.

When I’m not making websites I’m reading (some of my favourite books are The Dharma Bums and Big Sur by Jack Kerouac, Wolf: A False Memoir and A Good Day to Die by Jim Harrison, Fear and Loathing in America by Hunter S. Thompson, A Beautiful Mind by Sylvia Nasar, Fermat’s Last Theorem by Simon Singh, and Che Guevara: A Revolutionary Life by Jon Lee Anderson), watching films (favourites are The Big Lebowski, Withnail and I, Wonder Boys, Almost Famous, All the President’s Men, Pulp Fiction, Trees Lounge, and Dazed and Confused), listening to music, and walking in the beautiful Dorset countryside.
