HackUNT 2018 is UNT's very first 36-hour hackathon, a development competition for coders, designers, and anyone with a good idea!

  • Participants: Must have a valid student or Bootcamp ID
  • Hackers can participate individually or in teams of up to 5

Samsung Internet is offering a $500 Amazon Gift Card and Samsung Gift Packs for the team with the best project made using WebXR.

Best Website Submitted on a .Tech Domain
1 winner

The participant with the best website submitted on a .tech domain will received a $200 Amazon gift voucher.

Chiloso Prize

The winner will recieve a $100 VIP Chiloso Gift Card for the best "Chiloso Serves Alcohol" Social Media post.

Wolfram Award
15 winners

The top 15 teams, for a maximum of 75 participants, will receive a year of Wolfram|One Personal Edition plus a one-year subscription to Wolfram|Alpha Pro. ($375 value)

Best Utilization of Hardware and Software
1 winner

UNT's University Information Systems (UIS) wants the best implementation of hardware and software. This prize was made during the judging process due to how impressive some of the social data solutions were.

Best hardware hack
