HackUNCP 2025 is a 24-hour hackathon hosted by AI@UNCP, exploring the potential of AI agents, autonomous systems that make decisions, optimize processes, and solve real-world challenges.
This year’s theme, "Empowering the Future with Intelligent AI Agents," encourages participants to develop innovative AI-driven solutions.
Tracks include Sustainability, Education, Healthcare, Interactive Media, and Cybersecurity. All projects must integrate AI agents.

Requirements
Projects must align with a HackUNCP 2025 track and include an AI agent, an autonomous system that makes decisions, optimizes processes, or solves challenges.
- A working AI agent integrated into a functional software project.
- A project description explaining the problem, solution, and AI agent’s role.
- A 2-minute demo video showcasing functionality and impact.
- A source code repository on GitHub or GitLab with documentation.
