Judging Criteria
-
Creativity
Your projects are being judged first and foremost on whether the idea behind it is a unique and creative one. -
Adherence to Theme
The theme of this hackathon is “innovation with a positive global impact.” It is purposefully vague to give teams plenty of creative freedom with their ideas and it CAN be approached from a number of ways. -
Relative Difficulty
Did you create something that challenged you and your teammates? Your projects are being judged in terms of whether your team pushed themselves to create your hack, despite the challenges that it presented along the way. -
Feasibility
Specifically if you made a design prototype or web/app design, the judges will question whether the idea is realistic. Is it something that can reasonably be built to function as proposed?
