Hackathon Dates
Hack-SA will occur on October 23 thorugh October 24. Submission deadline is October 24 at 12:00 PM (Noon) CST.
Eligibility
This hackthon is open to individuals who are students of any university. You must be registered for the hackathon and have chosen a specific track to submit a project/idea to. Participation in the hackathon constitues a participants full agreement to and consent to the use of his/her/their name, photo, biographical information, and/or likeness.
Project Scoring
- Originality/creativity (20%)
- Innovation (25%)
- Analytical skills (10%)
- Strategic thinking (15%)
- Practical implementation (30%)
Prizes
The prizes will be awarded to hackers whos entries are awarded the top two highest scores by the judges and will receive a material prize to be disclosed on the day of the event. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible project submissions recieved. No cash or other substiution of prizes is permitted. Winners will be notified by 7p.m. CST on October 24, 2023.
