This event is for high school students only. If you are no longer a high schooler and would like to help out, consider becoming a mentor. Email us at event@hackphs.tech for more info on this!

Code of Conduct

As a participant of hackPHS, I agree to uphold the following pillars of character at all times while within school grounds during the event. I recognize that violating this code of conduct (or being judged to be in violation by event staff) will result in immediate expulsion and disqualification from the event. 

Trustworthiness:
  • I will be loyal, honest, reliable, and demonstrate integrity.

Respect

I will show respect and be considerate of the property and feelings of others. I will be gracious in victory and in defeat. I will not engage in disrespectful conduct.

  1. I will remain within designated areas of the school building, and will not destroy, damage, or otherwise harm any Princeton High School or hackPHS property.

Responsibility:

I will commit to being a hacker first and foremost and commit to earning the best educational experience I can. I will represent my team with honor. I will protect the integrity of my activity and will participate according to the rules.

Fairness:

I will live up to the standards of fair play. I will be open-minded, never judgmental. I will always be willing to listen and learn.

Caring:

I will demonstrate concern for the ideas, feelings, experiences and beliefs of others.

  1. Chemical Free Rules: 

There will be no use or possession of tobacco products, alcoholic beverages, or drugs (except by physician’s prescription) in or out of school as outlined in PPSD Policy.


Violation of the Chemical Free Rules:
Use, possession, or distribution of tobacco products, and chemicals mentioned above will result in expulsion from the event
