THE FIRST WOMEN'S COLLEGE HACKATHON

Like our school's founder, we reckon ourselves pioneers: change-makers unafraid to be the first to do great work. Mount Holyoke is the oldest women's college in the United States, and, true to this spirit, we were the first women's college to host a hackathon. HackHolyoke is a 24-hour hackathon that welcomes 200 hackers from around the country to be fearless, to truly be innovative, and to develop brilliantly new and disruptive technologies.

50:50 GENDER RATIO

Hack Holyoke is the FIRST hackathon ever to achieve a 1:1 gender ratio! Whether you are an experienced hacker or a complete novice, HackHolyoke will have an array of prizes for our array of participants, even for non-hack related activities so everyone has a chance of winning!
