- You can code in teams of 1-4 people.
- You cannot crosspost to other hackathons
- You must submit some form of code (GitHub, Repl.it, Google Drive link, etc)
- You may use publicly available frameworks, but must mention them in your Devpost submission. You must credit them.
- You may use AI/LLMs/ChatGPT as a tool, but are not allowed to reskin it for your project. AI projects should clearly state what they are utilizing vs what they worked on over the weekend.
- You cannot make multiple projects.
- You can submit to multiple categories.
- You cannot start coding before 8pm EST on Friday, September 26th.
- You must be at expo on Sunday for your project to be evaluated. Check live.hexlabs.org for more information on judging.
- You must be enrolled in a college course (dual credit, undergrad, or masters) to be eligible for this event.
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- Your team must all be of the Emerging Track to be eligible for Emerging.
MLH Code of Conduct
As a participant of HackGT, you have signed and agreed to the MLH Code of Conduct as part of your application. All participants are expected to uphold this Code of Conduct throughout the event and can face consequences such as expulsion for any act of misconduct.
