HackEMinds 2024 is a virtual hackthon hosted by the students of FTC Team 23786 MakEMinds. Students from the age of 13 to 18 in middle school or high school can participate. Any level of experience is welcome. There will be many workshops to help members understand and submit projects for each category. Join our Discord server for more updates.

Requirements
Themes:
FTC Sim: Design an autonomous code that scores as many points as possible on FTC Sim more details will be announced later
Robotics Pitch: Create a video/pitch on a industry that would be benifited by robotics and why. This challenge involves NO CODING.
Creative Project: Code any Website/Application that you would like to present more details wil be announced later

Best FTC Sim Project
Judging Criteria
Best FTC SIM Project- The FTC SIM Award will go to the person/team which can acquire the most points with their robot during the allotted one minute time period.
Prizes: Wolfram Subscription for everyone on the team worth $375 per person
$50 cash prize for the team
Best FTC SIM Certificate
Nord VPN Subscriptions for one person randomly selected from team worth $300+
$20 Cocalc Vouchers for the whole team
The Scoring System from FTC will be used to judge your points for this category
The code must run in one minute. Every subsequent point that is scored after the one minute mark will be voided
Your code may be written in either java or block coding
You will send your one run to devpost so try your code a few times to get the best result
You can use the FTC Sim website but no other similar simulations.
You must submit your run with a CLEAR camera angle and view of the code. If your code is to long to be captured during the video send screenshots of the missing portions
You cannot work with any other teams other than your own
There should only be one video submission per team.
Best Video Pitch
The best video pitch award will go to the person/team which most effectively communicates their projects and ideas in a clear and creative manner.
The video must display a connection to robotics and another industry.
General Project-
The general project award winner will be a project which is innovative, has an effective video, and has an outstanding final product with organized and useful code.
