About the challenge

Welcome to HackDays 2026.

This hackathon is focused on building innovative technology solutions that solve real-world problems in areas like AI, Education, Health care, Sustainability and many more by "Making the Best Use of Gemini API Keys".

Event Format
  • Round 1 – Online 
    All registered teams submit their Project and PPT online. Submissions are evaluated by judges based on innovation, technical approach & implementation, and impact.
  • Round 2 – On-Campus Finals
    Shortlisted teams are invited for final presentation before judges live at GCET. Final judging and prize distribution take place on campus.

Main requirement 

Build a functional model utilizing the Google Gemini API key, unlocking the potential for AI-driven innovation.

  • Team name & Team member details with role
  • Public GitHub repository 
  • PPT not more than 6 - 8 slides
  • Screenshot of project
  • 2 - 5 min Video explanation (If possible)
  • Link of working model(If possible)

  • Impact & Relevance
    Potential real-world impact or usefulness of the project. Alignment with the hackathon theme or problem statement.
  • Technical Complexity & Implementation
    Level of difficulty and sophistication of the solution. Quality of code, use of tools, frameworks, or algorithms.
  • Innovation & Creativity
    How unique or original is the idea? Does it solve a problem in a novel way or improve existing solutions?
