Hack Brooklyn is where your quest begins. Step into a world of magic on March 29th where over 250 of the brightest students in New York City CUNY will come together to build innovative solutions for causes ranging from homelessness to the lack of diversity.
Over the course of 24 hours, teams of up to four students will collaborate to use the technology of today to solve present-day problems and create the world of tomorrow. Create a project, acquire new skills, and network with other hackers and companies as you learn and grow in the heart of Brooklyn. Whether this is the first time you’ve ever seen a line of code or the hundredth time you’ve published an app, Hack Brooklyn has something for everyone. With a multitude of interactive workshops and events ranging from the basics of programming to the hottest and latest technologies, you’ll leave Hack Brooklyn with something new.

You must be a CUNY student to attend Hack Brooklyn.

A Monitor, Gaming Keyboard, and Gaming Mouse for each winning team member.
Best Use of Cloud (presented by DigitalOcean)
An Anker Soundcore Speaker, Anker Power Bank, DigitalOcean Credits ($250), and a special DigitalOcean T-Shirt for each winning team member.
Best Data Science Hack (presented by BC Computer Science Club)
A Heated Massager and The Pragmatic Programmer (2nd Edition) Book for each winning team member.
Best Beginner Hack (presented by BC Women in Computer Science Club)
A Coffee Machine and a Tea Infuser Thermos for each winning team member. To be eligible, your team should consist of at least two first time hackers.
