Hackable is the MENA region's biggest student-led hackathon where youth of the region and problem-solving minds can come together to create projects that promote growth, development, and improvement in the region. We are welcoming participants from the Middle-East, North Africa, Europe, Africa and America!
By providing opportunities to explore the world of computer science and social entrepreneurship to underrepresented groups, Hackable seeks to bridge the representation gap in the tech/entrepreneurship industry.
We will be beginner friendly and a great place to start for people who want to explore the world of computer science.
For this event, we will be encouraging participants to create projects that aim to remedy to pressing issues, specific to the MENA region. In addition, we will also be hosting speaker panels, workshops, and community webinars.
Our virtual event begins at 5PM Eastern European Time on Friday, July 23rd and ends at 7PM Eastern European Time on July 24th. All projects must be submitted by the end of the event.
Requirements
We have decided not to impose specific submission requirements. Communicate your project to us however you like, but remember that the more effectively you do so the better the judges will be able to consider it!
