CHEATING/PLAGARISM
Under no circumstances will cheating or plagarism be tolerated. Projects will be disqualified immediately. Project code cannot be started before October 14th at 10PM. Any form of plagarism will be dealt with by Major League Hacking.
ELIGIBILITY
Hack the Valley 7 is only open to those who have been accepted and RSVP'd to the event on their hacker portal. Any other projects will be not be considered for prize categories.
JUDGING + CRITERIA
Eligible submissions will be evaluated by a panel of judges selected by Hack the Valley. Judges may be executive members or third parties, may or may not be listed individually on the Hackathon Website, and may change before or during the Judging Period. Judging may take place in one or more rounds with one or more panels of Judges.
Stage One: Judges will determine whether the project fits the baseline criteria for any opt-in prize category, in that the project fits reasonably in the theme of the category. A score of 1 to 5 will be given, 5 being the most relevant.
Stage Two: Judges will then go through the judging criteria again scoring each category from 1 to 5. Entries will be judged on the following equally weighted criteria, and according to the sole and absolute discretion of the judges:

Winners are determined from the total value of the judging criteria.
