The Imperial WSET HACK-HER-THON is back and is part of our International Womens Day celebrations! Our aim is to create a safe-space for for female-identifying and non-binary students to improve and push their coding skills with exciting project work and workshops, and not feel worried about experience, or whether their coding skills are good enough! We strongly encourage beginner and intermediate coders to take part in this HACK-HER-THON (of course advanced coders are welcome too!) and perhaps for the first time, what a hackathon is! The event will run across 2 days, equivalent to 24 available hours to hack (12pm – 12pm GMT) and will include introductory workshops in areas of software development/data science from several partnering companies (to be revealed at a later date!). Furthermore, numerous company representatives will provide mentorship throughout the 24 hours.Several categories (which will be revealed soon) have been created, for you to submit your project work for some amazing prizes worth £50+ (yes, prizes are important) !!
