Code of Conduct:

Dates:
The event will be held April 3rd and 4th, 2026.
Place:
Hack Hack Goose will take place on the University of Texas at Austin campus! Hacking, judging, mini-events, and more will occur fully in-person.
Eligibility:
Participants must be a student at the University of Texas at Austin.
Project and Submission Requirements
Projects must be worked on between April 3rd, 5pm CST to April 4th, 5pm CST. Participant(s) must present project in person in order to be considered for prizes. Team size must be between 1-4 people.
Entry Fee:
Zero. Zip. Zilch. Nada. Nothing. Gratis. It's free. Freetail Hackers provides students with Wi-Fi, meals, swag, workspace, and prizes for all of our events!
Team Matching:
Teams can be up to 4 members. If you don't have a team, don't worry! Joining a team of new friends is the best part of a hackathon. We will have team matching available for everyone on the day of the event, but if you would like to create a team beforehand, that works too!
Prizes:
We will have prizes for our challenges, smaller activities, and mini-events! Specific details will be revealed at the opening ceremony!
Judging Criteria and Winner Selection:
All work must be done at the event. You can't demo something you didn't build. Creativity, implementation, presentation, and learning. Furthermore, some challenges will be judged with its prompt in consideration.
