Hack Days NIET 2026 is a hybrid AI-focused hackathon hosted at Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology (NIET), Greater Noida.

The event brings together student developers from across India to build practical, real-world solutions using Google Gemini. Participants will compete in an online preliminary round, and shortlisted teams will present their projects during the on-campus final showcase.

This hackathon is designed to encourage innovation, hands-on AI development, and collaboration.

Event Format

Phase 1 – Online Round
All registered teams submit their projects online. Submissions are evaluated by judges based on innovation, technical implementation, and impact.

Phase 2 – On-Campus Finals
Shortlisted teams are invited to present live at NIET. Final judging and prize distribution take place on campus.

  • Students interested in AI and real-world problem solving

  • Beginners looking to build their first AI project

  • Developers who want to strengthen their portfolio

Requirements

Each team must submit the following on Devpost:

  1. Project title

  2. Problem statement

  3. Solution description

  4. Clear explanation of how Google Gemini was used

  5. Public GitHub repository

  6. Demo video (2–5 minutes)

  7. Screenshots of the project

  8. Live link (if available)

Rules:

  • Teams must consist of 2–4 members

  • The project must be built during the hackathon period

  • Gemini integration must be clearly demonstrated

  • All submissions must be original work
