Hack Days Kanpur is a high-energy, in-person mini hackathon designed to bring together student builders, innovators, and problem-solvers from across Kanpur and nearby regions. Powered by Google Gemini and supported by the MLH community ecosystem, this one-day hackathon is focused on AI-driven innovation and real-world impact.

Organized by AITD Events (AI in Tech and Development), this event aims to empower studentsโ€”especially from Tier 2 and Tier 3 collegesโ€”to build practical, scalable, and impactful solutions using cutting-edge AI tools.

Requirements

 

โœ… 1. Project Overview
  • Project Title

  • 2โ€“3 sentence summary of your solution

  • Clear problem statement your project addresses

โœ… 2. Working Prototype (Mandatory)
  • Functional demo (web app, mobile app, AI tool, automation system, etc.)

  • Live deployment link (preferred) OR clear local demo instructions

  • The solution must actively implement Google Gemini in a meaningful way

โœ… 3. Google Gemini Implementation (Mandatory Requirement)

Since Hack Days Kanpur is powered by Google Gemini, every project must:

  • Integrate Google Gemini API or related Gemini tools

  • Clearly demonstrate how Gemini is used within the product

  • Show how Gemini enhances intelligence, automation, analysis, or user experience

  • Explain why Gemini is essential to the solution (not just added superficially)

Projects without proper Gemini implementation will not be eligible for top prizes.

  • Core logic and innovation must be developed during the hackathon timeframe.

  • Pre-built templates or boilerplates are allowed, but the main functionality must be built during the event.

  • Fully AI-generated projects without understanding, modification, or technical implementation are not allowed.

  • Incomplete submissions may not be considered for judging.

Your project should clearly reflect innovation, technical depth, and strong AI-powered problem-solving using Google Gemini.
