Sounds like such a silly name - Potus:) Anyway - wasn't it disrespectful of Steve not to wear his uniform to meet the man who is essentially his Commander-in-Chief? If I am going to gripe when the writers get things wrong, I want to know if I am right or wrong.
I was so looking forward to another Steve-in-uniform screenshot...:D

Hey! I thought I'd scroll through tags in case this had been answered before, but I don't see any :-)
Does anyone know in which ep- I don't even know if it's late S2 or maybe early S3 - Danny mentions that Gabby's taken a job and has left the country? I know it wasn't a scene, just a mention, and I've ff through a bunch of eps but can't find it. He intro'd Grace to her the ep after S2 Valentines, but a few weeks later during small pox scare, doesn't mention her. :-/ Help??

Why did Steve wear a regular suit to Cath's ceremony? He is the Reserves - should he not have worn his summer whites like everyone else? He is still required to wear dress blues to court, funerals, etc.. (and thank god for that:)) but he wasn't required to dress for this formal ceremony? TPTB missed a heck of an opportunity, there. Can someone explain this for me? I know Active and Reservists, even Retirees, are not supposed to do a formal salute without their covers on their heads - which makes me a little nuts when TV gets it so wrong so many times - not just H50 - because they are supposed to have consultants on these shows - but an explanation for that would be great, too. I understand from my father that when those in covers are saluting the flag, uncovered enlisted, etc.. should place their hands over their hearts instead. What is proper protocol when uncovered and facing a commanding officer?
Thanks! Paulette

Let's say, theoretically, that Steve and Danny were married. Steve goes on a mission and due to (complicated) plot reasons, the Navy determines he has died in action.
What sort of benefits would Danny receive? And when Steve arose from the dead (because unbeknownst to the Navy he wasn't really dead after all) would the Navy demand the return of said benefits? Would Danny receive the equivalent of a life insurance payout from the Navy? And would it have to be repaid when Steve reappeared?
This is for a story that may never be written. If I do write it, I'm curious how all of this might play out.
Thanks in advance.

I need your help, 5-0 lovers. Anybody know if
a) there are transcripts of the show on any websites? I've never seen a website dedicated to this, but there might be one out there.
OR
b) I'm after the small conversation Danny first has with Doris in the car and his particular comments on marriage/re-marrying. It's for a fic.
I could pull out my dvds and have a search but right now I'm mid-flow with words, about to battle the wind and weather for a walk with the dog and have several cakes to make in the next few hours for a church function tomorrow.
But there may be an off chance someone has the info more readily available - because you're all awesome like that.

Hi,
Not specifically show based, but I am trying to finish a fic and I wondered if there is a specific toast that Navy officers/SEALs would use for falen comrades? I have tied doing some research but have found it difficult to find a clear answer. I know the British forces have one but couldn't find one specifically for the US NAvy.
Thanks for your help! Its not overly improtant, but could help me with a little writers block!

Hi everyone, I am completely new to all this so please bear with of. I just adore the show and am so excited to find all you beautiful people who do too!
I have two questions-i hope they aren't stupid!
Firstly-I was watching the episode where Steve tells Danny he 'worked the other side' and Danny says oh a sniper or somethin like that. I just wondered is that what it meant! And how did that phrase come to mean it-i have tried Google etc but on joy.
Secondly - perhaps a little randomly - does Catherine have wings? (as in pilot not angel ;-))
Really hope this is right-not even sure how i get answers if anyone is kind enough to reply- oh well,I'll figure it out!
Thanks!

I hope it's okay to ask this here.
I'm working on a story where Danny and Grace were on the main land for a while and when they come back to Hawaii I want Steve to give them Leis with meaning. So:
What type of flowers would be on a lei that Steve was giving to Grace to show affection/caring?
And what would be on a lei for Danny? They aren't in a relationship at this point. I'm wanting the lei to express that that is where Steve would like to go.

Is it mentioned, and maybe I missed it, if Eric has any siblings or if Danny's sister is married? Or his age? I put him at 17, if it isn't mentioned. Anybody agree?

I'm working on a story and want to mention Danny's friend who was killed in the ocean trying to save him. Danny calls him Billy.... Sellway? Selway? Does anyone have a clue as to how to spell his last name?
Any and all help would be appreciated.
