Great Western Manufacturing is pleased to offer full material testing to all of our clients. Companies may submit material samples to our testing lab for analysis at no cost and without obligation. Utilizing the Great Western Sampl-Sifter, we are able to replicate the performance of our full-scale horizontal gyratory sifters, thereby determining:
- Product screen interaction and handling within the sifter
- Potential difficulties caused by:
- Particle Size Distribution
- Particle Shape
- Bulk Density
- Moisture Content
- Oil Content
- Possibility of Static Charge
Test results state area requirements and serve as a guide in determining the optimum equipment size and specifications for sifter speed and circle, sieve depth, throat size, side opening, pan slope, and the number and type of cloth cleaners to meet your process objectives.
