I am open to review requests. I prefer physical arcs, due to my dyslexia and ADHD. They are simply easier for me to annotate and tab.

My reading tastes can be found on my “about” page but to expound on that, I love stories that are medium to fast paced. Slow can mean that I lose interest quickly. I like stories with great character development and world-building. Examples of both of these would be, Anthony Ryan, Brent Weeks, Stephen R. Lawhead and Brandon Sanderson.

I really enjoy stories about the supernatural. Witches in particular are my favorites to read about with Vampires coming a close second. Anything with a creepy or eerie vibe will always win me over. Examples of these would be, Paula Brackston, Kim Harrison, Kelley Armstrong, Nora Roberts, Anne Bishop, and Laurel K. Hamilton.

I also thoroughly enjoy stories about the Fae. Most that I have loved have been YA Fantasy. Examples, Julie Kagawa and Holly Black; along with adult authors Patricia Briggs and Charlaine Harris.

Mystery/Thriller and Sci-fi are books I do enjoy when I read them. I am open to a good story in these two categories but can’t give many examples, as I don’t read much of either.

I am not big on romance, flowery prose, soft main characters, heavy handed dialogue or sexism.
