Vice Chairman and Founder

Gianluigi Bertini

He commenced his entrepreneurial career by contributing to the establishment of Guber Banca, an institution which he accompanied in its transition from servicer to bank, progressively assuming positions of strategic and managerial responsibility. His professional activities developed concurrently across complementary domains, including real estate management, corporate equity participations, and the administration of local entities, thereby consolidating an operational approach that is locally rooted and geared towards sustainable growth.
Throughout his career, he has held senior positions in numerous entrepreneurial initiatives, distinguishing himself by his capacity to integrate legal, organisational, and strategic expertise. His contribution has proved decisive in the structuring of solid operating models and in the enhancement of assets in complex and diversified contexts. He is currently a member of the Bank’s Board of Directors, where he holds the position of Vice-Chairman with responsibility for the legal area.

Founder and Executive Director

Francesco Guarneri

An entrepreneur and executive, he is a co-founder of Guber Banca, where he currently serves as Executive Director. His entrepreneurial vision has guided the company’s evolution from servicer to bank, contributing to the development of innovative and sustainable operating models.
Over the course of his career, he has held top management positions not only within the Bank, as Chief Executive Officer, but also in various organisations operating in the sector and engaged in social innovation. He served as a member of the NPL Advisory Panel of the European Commission – DG FISMA, where he contributed to the drafting of guidelines for the sale of NPLs on secondary markets. Drawing upon cross-functional experience and an innovation-driven approach, he actively contributes to the strategic direction of the Bank, supporting its advancement and the articulation of future objectives.

General Manager

Davide Becchetti

With over twenty years of experience in the credit sector, he has built a professional career focused on the analysis, acquisition, and management of NPL portfolios, including in partnership with international institutional investors. In 2008, he took on the leadership of the Special Situations area at Guber Banca, where he contributed to defining recovery processes and structuring new operational units.

Over time, he has coordinated teams dedicated to due diligence, insolvency proceedings, and tax credit activities, contributing to the development of evaluation and lending methodologies for special lending products. His strategic and operational vision is complemented by strong technical expertise, leadership, and an innovative mindset. In 2024, he was appointed Deputy General Manager of Guber Banca, supporting the strengthening of the bank’s credit and organizational processes, a role he held until December 2025 following his appointment as General Manager. Today, he leads the institution with a vision focused on innovation and long-term solidity.

Paolo Pettinari

Driven by a deep interest in corporate financial structures, strengthened by a solid economic background, he began his professional career at one of the Big Four firms, where he developed strong expertise in accounting and auditing. He then continued his career within leading international banking groups, holding positions of responsibility for over twenty years in the areas of Finance, Administration, Financial Statements, Regulatory Reporting, Planning, and Management Control.

He joined Guber Banca in 2023, was appointed Chief Financial Officer in 2024, and was subsequently named Deputy General Manager in 2025, a role he currently holds in support of the General Manager. His analytical approach and integrated view of economic and financial processes provide a tangible contribution to the bank’s economic sustainability and organizational development, in a context where accuracy, reliability, and the ability to synthesize information are strategic drivers of growth.

Chief Lending Officer

Ettore Battaiola

With over twenty-five years’ experience in the banking sector, he has held senior positions in credit, legal, commercial, and marketing functions, developing a comprehensive understanding of financial and organisational processes. He has led lending and credit process restructuring projects, coordinated cross-functional teams, and participated in strategic reorganisation initiatives.
At Guber Banca, he serves as Chief Lending Officer, responsible for leading credit policies and strengthening the organisation by leveraging extensive experience, thereby helping to ensure financial soundness, foster innovation, and promote a strategic vision centred on operational efficiency and sustainable risk management.
Chief Corporate & General Affairs Officer

Marta Cocca

With a background in law and a specialisation in project management and banking law, she has gained solid experience in corporate governance, contract law and the management of legal and institutional processes. After starting her career as a Legal Specialist in multinational contexts, she strengthened her expertise in corporate and compliance matters, working with prominent law firms and leading companies.
Since 2018, she has been part of Guber Banca, where she has accompanied the institution’s evolution from company to bank, contributing to the structuring of the Corporate and Legal Affairs function. She currently serves as Chief Corporate & Credit Affairs Officer. Her cross-functional vision and ability to integrate legal, organisational and communication aspects position her as a key figure in overseeing business processes and supporting senior management.
Chief Legal Credit Collection Officer

Rocco del Paradiso

A professional with extensive experience in the legal and credit sectors, he has worked in complex and multinational corporate environments, developing expertise in the management of distressed loans, banking contracts and securitisation transactions. He has worked with institutional investors and international banking groups, managing real estate portfolios and banking litigation, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
He has been with Guber Banca since 2018, holding the position of Chief Legal Credit Collection Officer. He serves as a key point of reference for legal and out-of-court activities related to credit exposures, for contractual matters in portfolio acquisition and disposal transactions, and for securitisation documentation. His operational and strategic vision contributes to strengthening the effectiveness of credit recovery processes and the soundness of lending operations.
Chief Corporate Banking Officer

Francesco Barelli Terrizzi

After completing his studies in the economics of markets and financial institutions, he began his career in consulting, working with leading strategic firms in Italy and across Europe. He then consolidated his experience by holding senior management and coordination roles within various companies of a major national banking group. In recent years, alongside his entrepreneurial activity, he has also served as a senior advisor, providing support to institutional and private clients on taxation, corporate restructuring and business revitalisation.
He serves as Chief Corporate Banking Officer at Guber Banca. In this role, he is responsible for developing and coordinating the Bank’s banking division, with the aim of strengthening its commercial offering, expanding relationships with the business community and structuring bespoke financial solutions for SMEs.
Chief Banking & Corporate Credit Collection Officer

Federico Guarneri

With over twenty years’ experience in the credit sector, he has developed specialist expertise in the management and analysis of banking portfolios. Following an initial appointment as Asset Manager, he subsequently assumed operational and strategic coordination responsibilities, overseeing credit assessment, business plan supervision, and client relationships.
Since 2018, he has served as Chief Banking & Corporate Credit Collection Officer at Guber Banca, where he leads portfolio onboarding, oversees business plans and coordinates the quality control and prevention centre. As a member of the Credit and Investment Committee, he plays an active role in formulating strategies for the management and value enhancement of credit exposures, providing essential analytical and managerial expertise to ensure the Bank’s efficiency and soundness.
Chief Operating Officer

Alberto Loda

His career began in 1985 within the Cooperative Credit system, where he worked for over twenty years, holding positions across the Bank’s main business areas and eventually serving as Head of Organisation and ICT. He has held positions as Risk Manager and Head of Anti-Money Laundering, before taking on the role of Head of Organisation. His thirty years of experience in positions of responsibility have enabled him to gain an in-depth knowledge of banking processes and to develop robust resource coordination capabilities, facilitating the execution of projects aimed at optimising organisational processes. His holistic vision and ability to integrate governance, technology and compliance have made him a key reference point in operational process management.
At Guber Banca, he holds the position of Chief Operating Officer, in which he applies his expertise to drive the efficiency of corporate processes, promote organisational innovation, and strengthen the Bank’s operational structure.
Chief Investment Officer

Roberto Maffioletti

An expert in structured finance and the management of non-performing loans, he has accrued over 15 years’ experience in collaboration with international banking groups and consultancy firms, including UniCredit, Banca Finint, Bain & Company, and KPMG. He has been involved in complex transactions regarding the acquisition, disposal, and restructuring of NPLs and UTPs, undertaking roles of responsibility and contributing to the definition of innovative strategies. Throughout his career, he has managed securitisation projects, investment platforms and alternative investment funds, collaborating with institutional investors and investment banks.
In 2025, he joined Guber Banca as Chief Investment Officer, where he leads the strategies for the management and enhancement of non-performing exposures, providing both strategic and operational vision. He is a member of the NPL Advisory Panel of the European Commission on behalf of Guber Banca.
Chief Human Resource Officer

Martina Pelliccia

Her professional background combines institutional, organisational and human resources expertise. Following her initial experience in public administration, she moved into consulting and talent acquisition, holding managerial roles in the Banking, Real Estate and Debt sectors, with responsibilities extending internationally.
Since 2022, she has served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Guber Banca, where she oversees all HR activities – from the design of organisational processes to talent acquisition, from training to internal communication, and from the management of remuneration policies to relations with supervisory authorities. Her integrated and strategic approach to people management contributes to strengthening the corporate culture and supporting the organisation’s growth.

Chief Risk Officer

Donatella Fedele

With a solid background in Economics and Finance and experience gained across consulting and banking institutions, she has built and led Risk Management functions from the ground up in both innovative and highly regulated environments. She has held senior roles in the areas of risk, governance, and compliance, contributing to the process of securing banking licences and to the development of control frameworks and the enhancement of risk culture.
In her current role at Guber Banca as Chief Risk Officer, she brings an operational and strategic approach that strengthens governance, optimises decision-making processes, and promotes integrated risk management aimed at sustainable growth.
Chief AML Officer

Enrica Lorenzetti

A seasoned professional specialising in Control and Internal Auditing, with extensive experience in the Finance & Assurance sector, she has developed a longstanding career in the banking industry, serving as the key Credit Process Coordinator within the Internal Audit Department. Within this context, she has played an active role in numerous on-site inspections conducted by the ECB, contributing to the management of Asset Quality Reviews and undertaking audit activities across core banking processes.
Her work has focused in particular on areas such as AML, Governance, Credit and Investment Services, bringing an analytical and methodological approach to risk assessment and regulatory compliance.
At Guber Banca, she serves as Chief AML Officer, overseeing anti-money-laundering activities, regulatory development, and the strengthening of compliance frameworks.
Chief Internal Audit Officer

Stefania Rossetti

She began her career in 1992 at ASM Brescia (now part of A2A), where she held positions of increasing responsibility in the areas of Commercial, Human Resources, and Strategic Development.

Since 2003 she has worked in the banking sector as Head of Internal Controls, Risk Manager and Anti-Money Laundering Officer, leading for more than fifteen years the implementation of control systems, the management of relationships with supervisory authorities, and the development of organizational models. Between 2016 and 2018 she also assumed responsibility for the Organization and IT Department.

She joined Guber Banca in 2019 as Chief Compliance & AML Officer and, from 2022, served as Head of the Compliance area. She currently holds the position of Chief Internal Audit Officer, ensuring the effectiveness of the internal control system and contributing to the strengthening of corporate governance and risk oversight.

Chief Compliance Officer

Claudia Fratus

She has extensive experience in the financial institutions sector, with particular focus on banking and the management and acquisition of Non-Performing Loans (NPLs). Throughout her career she has developed significant expertise in the areas of compliance, anti-money laundering and banking law, holding positions of increasing responsibility within the Compliance functions of leading banking and financial institutions.

She joined Guber Banca in 2025 and, since 2026, has held the role of Chief Compliance Officer. In this capacity she is responsible for overseeing and strengthening the internal control system and managing compliance risks, contributing to the promotion of a strong compliance culture and to the ongoing consolidation of the organization’s principles of soundness, transparency and good governance.
