Educator Resources & Professional Development

We hear it from teachers again and again: you want to get students outside, spark curiosity, and make learning stick, but time, resources, and confidence can get in the way.

Drawing on 55+ years of experience, Tremont’s professional development is designed to meet you where you are. We focus on practical, adaptable strategies you can use right away, whether you’re adventuring outside for 20 minutes or rethinking how you engage students in your classroom.

Through hands-on experiences and collaborative learning, you’ll build confidence in using experiential, inquiry-based approaches that deepen understanding of standards-aligned concepts, strengthen student relationships, and bring energy back into teaching.

We envision school communities where outdoor learning is accessible, frequent, and woven into everyday teaching – and we’re working alongside educators to make that a reality.

Teacher Escape Weekend—The One Workshop You Shouldn't Miss!

Teacher Escape Weekend is our premier teacher workshop. It’s a quick weekend retreat jam-packed with useful resources and planning time for your Tremont experience.

We encourage every teacher who will be bringing a group to Tremont to attend teacher escape prior to the school trip. This not only prepares you for the upcoming adventure with your student but also qualifies you for additional savings.
