As Chief Executive Officer, Liz sets the strategic vision for the center, focusing on the delivery of top-quality, compliant, and compassionate patient care. Her leadership is centered on cultivating productive teams and driving the operational efficiencies that lead to success in the outpatient surgery space. Liz's expertise is built on her foundational experience directing every facet of the center’s operations, including regulatory affairs, financial management, and revenue cycle oversight. This deep, hands-on knowledge informs her commitment to making high-quality healthcare both affordable and accessible for the community. Liz holds executive leadership certifications from Harvard Business School Online and is currently pursuing an MBA. She also holds a BS in Healthcare Administration and an AS in Radiography from Champlain College, and an AS in Architectural Engineering from Vermont Technical College.

Melanie oversees our Pre-Op, Post-Op, and Endoscopy departments, collaborating closely with GMSC leadership, staff, and physicians to ensure a seamless patient experience from arrival to departure. She also manages credentialing and onboarding new physicians to the Surgery Center. Melanie holds and MSN from Norwich University and a BSN from the University of Vermont.

Lindsey oversees the operational, educational, and safety infrastructure that defines the quality of service at GMSC. With expertise spanning operations management, quality improvement, and education, Lindsey ensures the organization functions at its highest level. A key focus is the comprehensive management of safety, including Emergency Management, Life Safety, and Infection Prevention, ensuring a secure and compliant environment for all. Additionally, Lindsey leads staff development and cross-training initiatives, cultivating a highly skilled and adaptable team dedicated to continuous improvement. Lindsey holds a MSN and BSN from Western Governors University and an ADN from Vermont Technical College.

Amy founded GMSC along with independent physician partners and is responsible for setting company values and providing strategic direction for all aspects of the Surgery Center’s activities. Previously she led healthcare reform initiatives on behalf of independent physicians as the Executive Director of Vermont Healthfirst. Amy holds an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Social Studies from Harvard University.
