What to expect in Calgary?
Visiting Calgary in June means arriving just as summer is getting into full swing — the weather is generally mild to warm, with average highs around ~20 °C (68 °F) and plenty of sunshine, though cool evenings and occasional rain are still possible, so dress in layers and bring a light rain jack.
In the city you’ll find outdoor life and events everywhere — patios buzzing, parks and river pathways perfect for walking or biking, and festivals celebrating music, arts and local culture.
Calgary’s must-see attractions — from the Calgary Tower and the zoo to large urban parks like Bowness and scenic birdwatching at Inglewood — are especially enjoyable in the longer, warmer days of June.
