Once upon a time, there was a bored little girl trying to find something nice to read. Or cook. Or watch. Or whatever thing to do. So she started to look up all her series and movies in her external hard drive when she found a mini-series that she once watched: Personal Taste. 'Yeah, that korean drama I watched when I caught the flu last year', she thought. It wasn't bad and she actually remembered liking it, so then she started to looking for more of those miniseries kdramas. And as Alice following the rabbit, she also fell down in the rabbit hole into a fantasy world: K-Dramaland.

This also could be read as: I had too much time last year and I watched a huge amount of kdramas. Just dramas that were aired partially or totally in 2011 will have pics, images picspam. This is a little list of them with commentary, because when deciding to give it a go to a kdrama, viewers' opinions matter a lot. Enjoy!

When I noticed that season 3 will premiere in 2-3 weeks, I started to freak out because I haven't finished my Bamon season 2 picspam! Let's blame my laptop (it lived five beautiful and long years), university, and life for the delay. So when my mom lend me her laptop until I can afford to buy the one I want (yep, my parents aren't gonna buy me stuff since I'm a ~grown up girl), the first thing I did was finish this massive picspam.

Last year (season 1 finale) I was pretty confident Bamon were going to change their interactions and I'm so pleased it happened. With almost killing each other, the slow journey from enemies to allies was one of the most interesting things in the last season. As Damon said to Stefan, they're dealing with big baddies like Klaus and there isn't time to play games. Things need to be done, because... well, shit is going down is Mystic Falls. So there isn't time for vampire/witch fights, moral compass troubles, feeling guilty about saving your "biggest enemy" crap, set on fire a vampire, feed of a witch, and having a passive-aggressive converstions full of UST. Wait! Bamon always have time to give UST new meanings. Hehe. They have to leave their differences aside and work together, and damn! The resident witch and the homicidal vampire are the best team against Klaus and every big baddie out there!

So what's up, world? I've wanted to post something... anything ,really for months now, but I don't have any ideas or energy or time to start a decent picspam or artwork. Well, I'm actually working on a huge TVD Bamon through season 2 picspam, but I haven't finished it yet. Anyway, that's not important. A couple of days ago I did this little meme/countdown in tumblr, so I thought I could post it here in like a picspam as a way to resurrect the comm.

Quise hacerte un fanmix de Dean porque fue lo que más me gsutó de tu lista. Traté de incluir bandas que tal vez no has escuchado, pero siento que finalmente el resultado fue que según el estado emocional del momento, Dean llegaría a escuchar mientras conduce el Impala y Sam desea cambiar la música xD. El artwork es muy simple, lo siento por ello, pero photoshop y yo hemos peleado. ¡Espero que te guste de todos modos!

 

This is a picspam for the 26th challenge at picspammy: Scenery and Production Design. I thought about many tv shows and movies that would be great choices for this particular challenge, but I've been a little bit nostalgic for non romantic movies and I remembered how much I love Kill Bill. Gotta accept the fact that I'm a big sucker for a strong female lead character, good fighting scenes and a solid script. What I also like about Kill Bill (both volumes) is the interesting concept for the scenary and production design. There's a lot of playing with the lighting and the objects around the characters. My favorite scenes are the ones at the pub/cafe where O-Ren Ishii and the Crazy 88 use to hang out. The set is so stunning! There're so many little details (like the glass floor and the lights) about the pub/cafe that it makes me wanna be in there admiring the architecture and design. Nedless to say I think Kill Bill, especially vol. 1, is a feast for the eyes.

Notes: I think this is the best love traingle in the world. Alisha will always be in love with Future!Simon and when Present!Simon cames back to the past, he will finally find his Alisha, the one that doesn't love another version of him. So in the end, it will be always Future!Simon looking for a girl that can love him for who he is and not for the man he is supposed to become. Future meeting the past. Always and forever. Damn time travel crap. So here we have one girl between two men, but they're theoretically the same Simon.
