When JEN COL Construction partnered with Graphos in 2020, they had already earned a strong reputation for delivering complex projects under demanding conditions for four decades.
What no longer reflected that reality was the brand itself.
The existing identity had remained largely unchanged for years. While familiar, it carried a dated, cartoon-style appearance that didn’t align with the level of professionalism, capability, and discipline the company had become known for. At the same time, the company was best known for its history as a local builder of quality schools, but had branched out into light commercial, industrial and municipal buildings, in Alberta and well beyond.
JEN COL needed a modernized market presence that reflected who they truly were and where they were headed.

The original logo featured a long-standing cartoon-style aesthetic and included the former “Jen-Col” naming structure.
After
We retained the recognizable orange and blue color palette, an important connection to the company’s roots and regional identity, while redesigning the brand into a cleaner, more architectural system.
The new mark removes the hyphen and introduces a dimensional form that simultaneously suggests:
- the corner of a modern building
- stylized forms of the letters J and C
- upward momentum, raising buildings and intentional progress
- structure, stability, and a passion for precision
