Meet Poporon, a rather playful and adventurous cat that belongs to Japanese Twitter user and musician @HOMEALONe_ksk. One look at @HOMEALONe_ksk's Twitter page will let you know that Poporon is very attached to a toy mouse. Cuddling it, and even hunting it to earn affection, as you can see below.

Recently, however, the beloved mouse toy needed a wash, but when presented with the newly washed toy, Poporon's mind adorably shut down. In the text posted with the video, @HOMEALONe_ksk's speculates that the scent of the mouse toy had changed, and thus resulted in a "confusion you could draw in a picture."

Maybe mice just aren't supposed to smell nice.
