A trip to the local pet store will reveal a massive collection of pet toys and luxury goods. While pet owners will choose an item with a certain expectancy on how their pets will use it, sometimes our animal friends end up having other plans.

Japanese Twitter user @kokonananya recently bought a “hammock mat” for her cats. The picture on the box said one thing, but her cat decided to use it a little differently.

He was close, though!

But after a few tries, it seems like @kokonananya’s cats has started to get the hang of it.
