We all know cats will do anything to fit into a box. Sometimes they will tussle with their friends to get in, other times they are content to relax with just one body part (such as the head) snugly in the box. But, thanks to a particularly tricky box, on rare occasions we can catch a glimpse of Felis catus’s rarely seen form. Liquid.

This munchkin cat, called Yukinojo, stars in a photo set uploaded to Twitter, which gained 19 thousand retweets and 69 thousand likes. In the pictures, it looks like she has completely flooded the interior of this food storage box, and looks positively ready to rise like bread dough.

Noticing this similarity, the owner even covered the top with a tea towel to snap pics, making the feline look even more like bread dough filling up the plastic box.

Many commenters marvelled at this extreme example of the liquid cat phenomenon, and others wondered what happens to the cat’s legs when she assumes this form.
