HiKEI, a Japanese brand that develops apparel with a focus on organic cotton items, has released a lineup of nature-inspired fragrances under the concept of "visible scent" in cooperation with workers in industries such as forestry and agriculture.
The lineup features three types of room and fabric fragrance sprays that use only natural fragrances (essential oils) extracted from plants as raw materials for fragrance to reproduce the vivid scents of the forests of Kyushuu within your own home.
KYUSHU KIGI
This fragrance is made with branches and leaves of cedar grown in Oguni-cho, Aso-gun, Kumamoto Prefecture, and camphor trees from Hyuga City, Miyazaki Prefecture, and is inspired by the time spent walking in the satoyama of Kyushu.
SO KAI
This fragrance is made from white grapefruits grown in Nichinan City, Miyazaki Prefecture, and camphor tree from Hyuga City, Miyazaki Prefecture, which would otherwise not be shipped or used.
SUN OF SOUTH
Using Meyer lemons grown in Nichinan City, Miyazaki Prefecture, and camphor trees from Hyuga City, Miyazaki Prefecture, which also would normally not be used, this fragrance evokes the sunshine of Miyazaki.
All three can be ordered from HiKEI's online store.
