NOTICE: Browser Connection Issues

Certain versions of the Brave and Edge browsers may conflict with Cloudflare, causing a cascade of page-not-found errors until our firewall blocks the link or page. It does not affect all users, but we are working to identify a permanent browser-side fix. This problem has not been reported on mobile, regardless of the browser used.

Until then…

If you or someone you know experiences this problem, they can still access ‘Grok content by right-clicking any link and selecting open in private or incognito mode. This disables whatever in the Browser is creating a conflict and allows you to access the content and everything else on the website while in that mode.

About

GraniteGrok.com was founded in 2006 and is celebrating twenty years of serving New Hampshire, New England, and the Nation as that rarest of things: Truly independent media that is open about its political bias. We are your “Fire-breathing, right-wing, hard-charging, gun-toting, opinionated, outspoken, rabble-rousing, letter-writing, radio microphone stomping, Conservatives and Rational Libertarians!”

We’ve been ‘Grok!’ for two decades!

gran·ite: n. 1. A common… hard igneous rock… used in monuments and for building. 2. Unyielding endurance or steadfastness: a will of granite.

grok: /grok/, var. /grohk/ vt. [from the novel “Stranger in a Strange Land” by Robert Heinlein; metaphorically `to be one with’]. The emphatic form is `grok in fullness.’ 1. To understand, usually in a global sense. Connotes intimate and exhaustive knowledge.– The Jargon File 3.2.0

What this all means in plain language is that we are Constitutional Conservatives, Libertarians, and Conservatarians. We want to conserve the limitations placed on government by the Constitution. If you line up to defend those limitations, we might applaud that if we see it. If you attack or undermine those principles, you might get a trip to the rhetorical woodshed. It’s just that simple.

“Tradition is not the worship of ashes, but the preservation of fire.” – Gustav Mahler
