10.1 Scope
This section governs the production and installation of vehicle graphics, including cut vinyl and printed wraps.
10.2 Substrate and preparation
The Client is responsible for presenting the vehicle clean and, where required, chemically decontaminated if a showroom-level finish is expected.
The presence of microscopic tar, asphalt residue or other contamination may result in local elevations, minor edge irregularities or slight silvering beneath the film.
This is a characteristic of the substrate and not an installation defect.
Advanced decontamination will only be carried out where separately ordered and quoted for.
10.3 Visualisation (proof) and approval
Any supplied visualisation is illustrative and primarily intended to show layout, placement, proportions and the selected production method.
It is viewed on-screen in RGB, whereas production is carried out in CMYK on physical media, and colour variation may therefore occur.
The finished result may also vary slightly due to vehicle geometry, contours, seams, material batch differences, lighting and environmental conditions.
10.4 Client-supplied artwork
The Client should provide press-ready AI, PDF/X-4 (CMYK) or SVG (RGB) files, with no masks or clipping paths and an artboard fitted to the artwork.
Where technical issues are present, including problematic EPS files, global clipping masks or RGB gradients, Graffstudio may adapt the file as required for safe production.
10.5 Gradients and technology choice
Gradients cannot be reproduced in cut vinyl.
Printed wraps may display banding and colour variation across panel seams.
Where gradients are to be retained, suitable master files are required.
A colour proof may be provided on request.
10.6 Small details and durability
Very small details may be incorporated into a larger shape in order to minimise seams and improve durability, particularly in Scandinavian and Northern European climate conditions, including fluctuations in temperature, moisture, road salt and frequent washing.
10.7 Installation tolerances and quality assessment
Micro air pockets of up to 2 mm in air-release films are normal and will usually dissipate naturally within 7 to 14 days following installation and post-cure.
Immediate piercing is not recommended.
Quality shall be assessed at a viewing distance of approximately 1 to 2 metres in daylight, and minor deviations within normal industry tolerance shall be regarded as acceptable.
10.8 Aftercare
Vehicles should not be washed for 72 hours after installation.
For pressure washing, a minimum distance of 50 cm should be maintained and the jet should not be directed at edges or seams.
10.9 Warranty and liability
Warranty covers material and installation defects only.
It does not cover normal wear and tear, environmental or mechanical impact, including salt, frost or impact damage, or issues arising from the underlying substrate.
Graffstudio is not responsible for colour differences arising from Client-supplied files.
10.10 Claims
Claims must be submitted in writing after the post-cure period referred to in clause 10.7.
Claims arising from unsuitable artwork, inadequate surface preparation or failure to follow aftercare instructions may be rejected.
11.1 Scope
To improve service security and operational stability, Graffstudio may restrict client-side editing of certain DNS records within any control panel, including cPanel, for domains hosted under Graffstudio hosting services.
11.2 Effective date and covered records
From 1 January 2026, DNS records that are critical to website and email operation, including A, CNAME and MX records, may be managed exclusively by Graffstudio and may not be available for self-editing by the Client.
11.3 Rationale and risk
The records referred to above directly affect website and email routing.
Unauthorised, accidental or incorrect changes may lead to service interruption, SSL certificate issues, degradation of domain reputation, including spam or phishing classification, and possible traffic interception risks.
11.4 What remains available to the Client
The Client may retain access to certain email-related settings and authentication mechanisms, including SPF, DKIM and DMARC, and to other hosting features, unless restricted elsewhere in these Terms & Conditions or by separate written agreement.
11.5 Requesting DNS changes
Requests to change records covered by clause 11.2 must be submitted by email to
helpdesk@graffstudio.com
and should include the record type, host or name (where applicable), value or content, and TTL.
Graffstudio aims to implement such changes within 48 hours of receipt and will confirm when they have been completed.
