Requirements
To be eligible for judging in GPT4o: Code & Conquer, participants must adhere to the following submission guidelines. Make sure your project showcases the creativity, innovation, and power of AI, particularly GPT-4, to truly stand out!
1. Project Submission
- Title and Short Description (Mandatory): Provide a clear and concise title along with a brief overview of your project (150 words max).
- Project Explanation (Mandatory): Submit a detailed write-up (500-1000 words) explaining the problem your project solves, how AI (GPT-4) is used, and its impact or potential real-world application. Include insights into your project development process and technical challenges faced.
- GitHub Repository (Optional): Submit a link to your project’s source code hosted on a public GitHub repository. Ensure your repo includes:
- A README file with setup instructions, usage documentation, and the roles of team members.
- A demo video link (see next section for video requirements).
2. Demo Video
- Create a video demo (5-10 minutes max) that explains your project’s core functionality, features, and showcases the AI model in action.
- What to include: Key features, problem statement, how GPT-4 is integrated, project goals, and a demonstration of the app/solution in use.
- Upload the video to YouTube or another public platform and include the link in your GitHub repository and submission form.
3. AI Integration
- Clearly demonstrate the integration of GPT-4 or other AI technologies in your project.
- Describe how GPT-4 or AI has been leveraged to solve your chosen problem and why it’s a crucial part of your solution.
- Provide details of any API calls, datasets, and model training used.
4. Prototype/Working Solution
- Your submission should include a functional prototype or working demo that judges can interact with (if applicable).
- A deployed version (URL link) or locally runnable version must be made available for review.
5. Innovation & Originality
- Ensure your project is original and created during the hackathon. Reusing prior work is not allowed, but you can build on existing tools and libraries.
- Describe what makes your project innovative, how it differs from existing solutions, and how it leverages GPT-4 to solve problems in unique ways.
6. Timeframe
- All code, design, and development must be done within the official hackathon time period. No submissions will be accepted after the deadline.
7. Optional (Bonus Points)
- Open Source Contribution: Extra points for making your project open source and contributing back to the developer community.
- User Testing/Feedback: Provide results from user testing or feedback if your solution was tested by end-users.
- AI Ethics Consideration: Projects that demonstrate awareness of AI ethics and include measures for responsible AI use will be rated higher in the judging process.
