GOAL Academy's Title IX Policy

GOAL High School does not discriminate on the basis of sex and prohibits sex discrimination in any education program or activity that it operates, as required by Title IX and its regulations, including in admission and employment.

Inquiries about Title IX may be referred to GOAL’s Title IX Coordinator, the U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights, or both. GOAL’s Title IX Coordinator is Ramon Arriaga the Director of Student Support Services.

GOAL’s nondiscrimination policy and grievance procedures can be located at  GOAL Complaint and Grievance Process. To report information about conduct that may constitute sex discrimination or make a complaint of sex discrimination under Title IX, please report this to the Title IX Coordinator.

To ensure compliance with Title IX and other federal and state civil rights laws, the school has designated a Title IX Coordinator to monitor compliance with Title IX and ensure that reports of sexual or gender-based harassment or misconduct are appropriately investigated and addressed by the school. 

Any student, faculty, or staff member who has questions or concerns about their rights under Title IX or who believes that they have been the victim of sexual or gender-based harassment or misconduct, is encouraged to contact GOAL Academy’s Title IX Coordinator.

The Title IX Coordinator is charged with monitoring the school’s compliance with Title IX; ensuring appropriate education and training for students and employees; coordinating the school’s investigation, response, and resolution of all reports, and ensuring appropriate actions to eliminate prohibited conduct, prevent its recurrence, and remedy its effects.

GOAL Academy takes Title IX seriously.
