GLR Week 2026
GLR Week 2026 — July 27–31, 2026
Join the Campaign for Grade-Level Reading for GLR Week 2026, a national week of learning, conversation, and collaboration focused on the urgent issues shaping children’s learning, family well-being, and community progress.
GLR Week 2026 will bring together national experts, state and local leaders, educators, civic partners, funders, community coalitions, and other champions for children and families to explore timely challenges, emerging opportunities, and practical solutions that can help more children succeed in school and thrive beyond the classroom.
Plenary sessions will feature conversations about raising children alongside artificial intelligence; comprehensive, prevention-first approaches to third-grade retention policies; classroom practice and the science of reading; using ALICE data to inform state policy for working families; state education leadership for literacy outcomes; chronic absence; the changing federal role in education; and the civic leadership and engagement that help sustain local progress.
Together, we will use GLR Week 2026 to share insights, elevate promising strategies, and strengthen the collective commitment to early school success.
CGLR appreciates the ongoing commitment of our Founding Partners
