Where can I borrow from?
You need to be a library member to borrow, so join in the library or online: Join | Gloucestershire Libraries
Affordably hire useful items for £3 to £5 a week.
How does it work?
- Browse the collection
Explore what’s available at your nearest participating library. Search the catalogue. - Reserve your item
Request it online or pop in and browse the display in the library to see what's available now. You will need to be able to collect from the library that has the item in stock. - Borrow it for one week
Pick it up just like any other library item. Affordably hire for £3 to £5 a week. You’ll need to sign a borrowing form agreeing to the terms and conditions. Bear in mind some of the larger items are quite heavy, so do think about how to transport them in advance. - Use it, enjoy it, return it
Bring it back in a week. Items cannot be renewed. Overdue charges of £1 per day apply to late items. Items must be returned to the library they were issued from, during staffed opening hours. Please return items in the condition they were borrowed.
Library staff are always happy to help if you’re borrowing something for the first time.
