Pre-MBA Program

The GLOBIS Pre-MBA Program allows students to take fundamental business courses from the GLOBIS MBA Curriculum. Each course runs for 3 months, with six classes held every other week. Courses are offered every January, April, July, and October. Upon completion, the student earns 1.5 MBA credits transferrable to their future MBA Program at GLOBIS University.

  • It covers the fundamentals of business administration such as strategy, marketing, leadership, accounting, finance and more
  • Students analyze corporate issues described in business cases and discuss solutions in an interactive learning environment
  • Certificates can be offered for each course upon successful completion

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent undergraduate degree
  • One year of full-time work experience
  • An essay of 200 words minimum explaining why you wish to join the Pre-MBA

*Course fees paid for the Pre-MBA will be deducted from the MBA tuition when proceeding to the MBA Program.

Scholarship

We recognize that many business professionals aspiring to higher education may require financial assistance. To support overseas applicants living outside Japan, we are offering two types of scholarships starting in April 2025. These scholarships temporarily waive the Pre-MBA enrollment fee (23,000 JPY) until applicants enroll in the MBA program.

While we offer two separate scholarships, both provide the same benefits.

Organizational Behavior and Leadership (OBH)

In this course, “Organizational Behavior and Leadership” is defined as the “approach” an individual person (often a leader) takes to lead members toward organizational goals that are aligned with corporate strategy. The purpose of this course is to help students develop the leadership skills they need to be more effective in the practical business world.

Course Objectives

In this course, students will:

    • Learn key frameworks and their applications enabling them to grow into leaders that can cope better with the increasingly rapid changes taking place in today’s business environment
    • Look back on their own professional careers and apply key lessons learned to their actual workplace
    • Explore and analyze operating conditions, business characteristics, and other factors related to management strategies
    • Study the themes of Leadership, Empowerment, Group Management, Change Management, Leadership and Organizations that Encourage Innovation and Fostering an Ideal Corporate Culture

This course is intended for all students who aspire to improve their leadership ability and their capacity to adapt to environmental changes.

*About Hybrid/In-Person Classes:

  • All days of the class can be joined online.
  • In-person sessions will take place at a hotel in Taguig, Metro Manila (exact location to be shared to students). Enjoy complimentary food, beverages, and study materials if you are participating in-person. There is a lunch gathering after class, care of GLOBIS.
  • Day 6 Special: Includes a sponsored dinner and/or a class field trip (transportation and related expenses covered by GLOBIS Manila). Participation is optional but recommended.
