`libxml2-2.14+` now disallows parsing trailing `NULL` bytes, so don’t. This is backward-compatible with previous versions of the library.

There seems to be parsing errors in 2.14 for xkb databases. We will probably need to wait for libxkbcommon 1.9.0: xkbcommon/libxkbcommon#693
