Description (required)

Updates the French i18n-guide to:

  • turn it into a more comprehensive guide that includes Discord links and writing tips
  • update the words list (remove obvious translations, update translations based on the current usage in the docs, adds new words)

The goals would be to:

  • help newcomers get started
  • make the translation across the docs more consistent
  • provide a base to make the translation consistent in the Astro ecosystem (e.g. Starlight)
  • give some references to previous discussions to keep a track both for newcomers and current translators in case of doubt

Next step: Scan the docs to update the translation when necessary based on the updated guide. I don't mind doing that, but first we need to agree on the translations!

Hi @HiDeoo, I'm pinging you here in case you want to take a look.

One the objective of updating the Astro Docs i18n-guide would be to "provide a base to make the translation consistent in the Astro ecosystem (e.g. Starlight)". Since this is mainly you who works on the French translation of Starlight, you might want to give your opinion here. No obligations of course, I just wanted to make sure you're aware of this if you're interested!
