Clear and concise description of the problem

As a community user using Vite I want reach out information about the philosophy of Vite so that I can plan better e.g. if it's the right tool for me and it's worth to e.g. switch to it from another already existing tool that is used in my project.

Suggested solution

Write some philosophies about options, plugin system and coverage to similar tools.
This could be written down into the docs like in Prettier's Option Philosophy
