When debugging the code I noticed that the error comes from an area that was recently changed by https://github.com/sourcegraph/sourcegraph/pull/62606.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Go to https://sourcegraph.sourcegraph.com/insights
2. Select the "Getting started" tab
3. Wait for the preview to appear with the error message "Git.Commits: must specify a range or AllRefs"

Expected behavior:

It should not show an error message.
