#3739 was an attempt, but we can't access intel runners on macos 14 and macos 15 without paying github.

Let's see if github comes out with a free tier to test intel macs, otherwise we could maybe just drop building wheels/testing for intel macs. Mac ARM has been out for almost 5 years.
