Updating version of Sphinx to most recent one, 4.2.0. Documentation builds without warnings.

I have nothing against a NEWS file, but I don't feel it's mandatory neither as we still allow to build with older Sphinx anyway and it does not really change Python.

LGTM, it's a good time in the release cycle to start trying a new Sphinx release.
