Can you add a bit more description about how this pr solves the problem. Is it relying on standard mechanisms from the AWS sdk? |

I'm approving since I see approval from AWS folks :)
I've also run the tests with the changes made in testdata/sigv4_good.yaml just to make sure the change is backwards compatible, and tests passed

…nfig Using `AWS_USE_FIPS_ENDPOINT` to configure FIPS endpoint usage no longer works (see prometheus/prometheus#16752). This must be done using the `use_fips_sts_endpoint` config option added in prometheus/common#649. It is also available in the new sigv4 package: https://github.com/prometheus/sigv4.
