…nd shims The NODE_PATH in cmd shims previously included all paths from Module._nodeModulePaths(), which are already searched by Node.js during standard require() resolution. With the global virtual store, binaries resolve to deeply nested store paths, causing Module._nodeModulePaths() to generate many intermediate paths that exceed cmd.exe's 8191-character line limit on Windows. Now only extraNodePaths (the hoisted node_modules directory) is included — the one path that standard resolution can't find on its own. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.6 <noreply@anthropic.com>

…ommand shims The previous commit removed all Module._nodeModulePaths() from NODE_PATH to fix Windows "input line too long" errors. However, this broke tools like import-local (used by jest, eslint, etc.) that resolve from CWD rather than from the binary's location. When resolving transitive dependencies from CWD, NODE_PATH was the only resolution path available. Now the shim includes just the package's own dependency directories: - .pnpm/pkg@version/node_modules/pkg/node_modules (bundled dependencies) - .pnpm/pkg@version/node_modules (sibling dependencies) This keeps NODE_PATH short (2-3 entries vs dozens) while ensuring correct version resolution. Fix the bundled dependencies path for scoped packages (@scope/pkg) and correct the NODE_PATH priority so package-specific paths come before hoisted paths. Add unit tests covering virtual store layout, scoped packages, symlink resolution, and ENOENT fallback.

The `NODE_PATH` in command shims no longer includes all paths from `Module._nodeModulePaths()`. Instead, it includes only the package's bundled dependencies directory (e.g., `.pnpm/pkg@version/node_modules/pkg/node_modules`), the package's sibling dependencies directory (e.g., `.pnpm/pkg@version/node_modules`), and the hoisted `node_modules` directory. These paths are needed so that tools like `import-local` (used by jest, eslint, etc.) which resolve from CWD can find the correct dependency versions.

Fixed "input line too long" error on Windows when running lifecycle scripts with the global virtual store enabled. The
NODE_PATHin command shims no longer includes all paths fromModule._nodeModulePaths(). Instead, it includes only the package's bundled dependencies directory (e.g.,.pnpm/pkg@version/node_modules/pkg/node_modules), the package's sibling dependencies directory (e.g.,.pnpm/pkg@version/node_modules), and the hoistednode_modulesdirectory. These paths are needed so that tools likeimport-local(used by jest, eslint, etc.) which resolve from CWD can find the correct dependency versions.
