Nice, can't argue with the 🐎 ! Only suggestion would be 🌴 something like selectedOptions = makeModifiedMarkerOptions(trace.selected.marker, markerOpts);

This fixes multimarker selection error (@bpostlethwaite discussion) and speeds up entering selection mode (up to ×3 times).
