Working with non-code-files describes all the different binary formats that Github supports. It would be awesome if support was added to visualize wasm binary files. Right now it's very difficult to review PRs that contain wasm binary files. One example is here.
The WebAssembly specification has equivalent text and binary formats that can be converted easily between each other. There are multiple open source binary to text converters available.
I am one of the maintainers of the Rust-based wasm-tools converter by the Bytecode Alliance. I'd be happy to help with any integration issues that would come up. It can run in the browser by being compiled to wasm, here's an example sandbox.
