Summary

  • Regenerate the Swift Gateway protocol model output for the new optional session/chat agentId fields, and keep those additive Swift initializer parameters source-compatible with = nil defaults.
  • Keep the Swift protocol generator aware of newly added optional agentId fields so future generated output stays compatible for existing Swift call sites.
  • Fix the remaining mainline lint/test expectation issues in chat-abort, OpenAI tool schema caching, codex-supervisor cleanup, the global session sentinel expectation, and official plugin onboarding coverage for Tokenjuice.

CI failures addressed

After rebasing on origin/main (522d0f7ef5), several original failures had already been fixed on main: root shrinkwrap, codex-supervisor integer narrowing, and bash exec-host allowlist typing. This PR is still needed for the remaining unique fixes:

  • checks-fast-bundled-protocol: regenerated apps/shared/OpenClawKit/Sources/OpenClawProtocol/GatewayModels.swift from the gateway protocol schema and made the new optional Swift initializer parameters default to nil.
  • check-additional-runtime-topology-architecture: changed src/gateway/chat-abort.ts to import the narrow OpenClawConfig type from types.openclaw instead of the config runtime module.
  • checks-node-core-runtime-media-ui: added Tokenjuice to the official optional plugin onboarding test expectation.
  • check-lint: removed the redundant unknown | undefined return and the remaining codex-supervisor lint issues.
  • checks-node-agentic-commands-agent-channel: updated the embedded agent command test to preserve global as the unscoped session sentinel; isUnscopedSessionKeySentinel() intentionally handles global before agent scoping.

Verification

Rebased verification on c360db493d3a1f91da422c984f5a94c3e2811d13:

  • pnpm protocol:check - passed.
  • node scripts/generate-npm-shrinkwrap.mjs --check - passed, root npm-shrinkwrap.json is current on rebased main.
  • pnpm format:check scripts/protocol-gen-swift.ts extensions/codex-supervisor/src/supervisor.ts extensions/codex-supervisor/src/supervisor.test.ts src/agents/openai-tool-schema.ts src/commands/agent.test.ts src/gateway/chat-abort.ts src/wizard/setup.official-plugins.test.ts - passed.
  • node --import tsx scripts/check-import-cycles.ts - passed, 0 runtime value cycles.
  • node scripts/run-oxlint.mjs extensions/codex-supervisor/src/supervisor.ts extensions/codex-supervisor/src/supervisor.test.ts src/agents/openai-tool-schema.ts - passed.
  • node scripts/run-vitest.mjs src/wizard/setup.official-plugins.test.ts src/commands/agent.test.ts extensions/codex-supervisor/src/supervisor.test.ts packages/gateway-protocol/src/index.test.ts - passed, 5 files / 139 tests.

Earlier pre-rebase proof also included the larger focused Vitest set, source test tsgo, extension prod tsgo, plugin boundary check, and autoreview. The broad extension test typecheck was previously blocked only by unrelated timer-cast errors in Mattermost/Xiaomi/Zai/Zalo tests; those are not in this rebased diff.

Real behavior proof

Behavior addressed: Remaining mainline CI failures from stale generated protocol output, import-cycle/lint issues, and stale test expectations.
Real environment tested: Local Codex worktree on macOS with repo wrappers and focused Vitest/protocol/shrinkwrap/lint checks after rebasing onto current origin/main.
Exact steps or command run after this patch: See Verification above.
Evidence after fix: Focused tests and checks pass; protocol and shrinkwrap generators report current output.
Observed result after fix: The remaining reported failures are addressed in the touched lanes.
What was not tested: Full pnpm check / full CI locally.

Dependency graph guard cleared

This PR no longer has blocked dependency graph changes. A future dependency graph change requires a fresh /allow-dependencies-change comment after the guard blocks that new head SHA.

Codex review: needs maintainer review before merge. Reviewed May 29, 2026, 5:28 PM ET / 21:28 UTC.

Summary
Regenerates Swift Gateway protocol models for optional session/chat agentId fields and updates focused CI, lint, and test expectations across protocol generation, gateway imports, OpenAI schema caching, codex-supervisor cleanup, agent session sentinels, and official plugin onboarding.

PR surface: Source +2, Tests +6, Other +100. Total +108 across 8 files.

Reproducibility: no. high-confidence runnable reproduction was performed in this read-only review. Source inspection shows the current schemas include optional agentId fields that the checked-in Swift generated output lacks, which is a credible protocol-check failure path.

Review metrics: 1 noteworthy metric.

  • Swift protocol initializer defaults: 20 added. These defaults are the compatibility mechanism that lets existing Swift call sites omit newly optional agentId protocol fields.

Merge readiness
Overall: 🐚 platinum hermit
Proof: 🐚 platinum hermit
Patch quality: 🐚 platinum hermit
Result: ready for maintainer review.

Overall follows the weaker of proof and patch quality, so missing proof can cap an otherwise strong patch.

Rank-up moves:

  • [P2] Wait for the pending exact-head checks to complete before merge.

Risk before merge

  • [P1] The PR changes generated Swift Gateway protocol client models; exact-head protocol/Swift-related CI should finish before merge to confirm the nil-default compatibility path.
  • [P1] Full pnpm check was not run locally per the PR body, and public check-runs for the current head still had queued or in-progress jobs during this review.

Maintainer options:

  1. Wait for exact-head validation (recommended)
Let the pending c360db4 checks finish and confirm protocol/Swift-related lanes pass before merge.
  2. Accept the limited protocol risk
Maintainers can intentionally land if they are satisfied the nil defaults and focused checks cover the generated Swift client surface despite not waiting for broader validation.

Next step before merge

  • [P2] Protected maintainer-labeled PR with compatibility-sensitive generated protocol output; the remaining action is exact-head CI and maintainer review, not a safe repair job.

Security
Cleared: The rebased diff no longer changes dependency or lockfile surfaces and I found no concrete security or supply-chain issue in the generated Swift, TS source, tests, or script updates.

Review details

Best possible solution:

Land the rebased branch after exact-head checks and maintainer review confirm the additive Swift agentId defaults preserve client compatibility and the dependency guard remains clear.

Do we have a high-confidence way to reproduce the issue?

No high-confidence runnable reproduction was performed in this read-only review. Source inspection shows the current schemas include optional agentId fields that the checked-in Swift generated output lacks, which is a credible protocol-check failure path.

Is this the best way to solve the issue?

Yes, pending validation: regenerating the Swift protocol output and defaulting the new optional agentId initializer parameters is the narrow compatibility-preserving fix. The remaining merge decision is exact-head CI and maintainer review, not a code redesign.

Label changes

Label changes:

  • add rating: 🐚 platinum hermit: Overall readiness is 🐚 platinum hermit; proof is 🐚 platinum hermit and patch quality is 🐚 platinum hermit.
  • add status: 👀 ready for maintainer look: ClawSweeper has no concrete contributor-facing blocker left for this PR. Not applicable: The external-contributor proof gate does not apply to this MEMBER/maintainer-labeled CI repair; the PR body still lists focused after-patch validation commands as supplemental proof.
  • remove rating: 🦐 gold shrimp: Current PR rating is rating: 🐚 platinum hermit, so this older rating label is no longer current.
  • remove status: ⏳ waiting on author: Current PR status label is status: 👀 ready for maintainer look.

Label justifications:

  • P2: This is a normal-priority maintainer CI repair with limited blast radius rather than an active user-facing runtime outage.
  • merge-risk: 🚨 compatibility: The PR changes generated Gateway protocol client API output, so merge safety depends on preserving source-compatible Swift defaults and exact-head validation.

What I checked:

  • Repository policy read: Root AGENTS.md and relevant scoped guides for scripts, extensions, agents, and gateway paths were read; Gateway protocol compatibility and generated-output guidance affected the review. (AGENTS.md:1, a841778b7b94)
  • Protected maintainer PR: Live issue API shows author association MEMBER and labels include maintainer, so conservative cleanup should keep this PR open for explicit maintainer handling. (c360db493d3a)
  • Current schema needs Swift regeneration: Current main has optional agentId in session and chat Gateway protocol schemas while the checked-in Swift output lacks the corresponding newer fields in affected structs. (packages/gateway-protocol/src/schema/sessions.ts:18, a841778b7b94)
  • PR preserves Swift initializer compatibility: The PR diff adds defaulted optional agentId initializer parameters to the Swift generator and regenerated GatewayModels.swift so existing labeled Swift call sites can omit the new field. (scripts/protocol-gen-swift.ts:43, c360db493d3a)
  • Dependency guard no longer blocks this head: The dependency graph guard comment for head c360db4 says the dependency graph guard cleared, and the current PR file list no longer includes the prior root shrinkwrap change. (c360db493d3a)
  • Exact-head checks still in progress: Public check-runs for c360db4 showed no failures on the first page, but two checks were still queued or in progress during review. (c360db493d3a)

Likely related people:

What the crustacean ranks mean
  • 🦀 challenger crab: rare, exceptional readiness with strong proof, clean implementation, and convincing validation.
  • 🦞 diamond lobster: very strong readiness with only minor maintainer review expected.
  • 🐚 platinum hermit: good normal PR, likely mergeable with ordinary maintainer review.
  • 🦐 gold shrimp: useful signal, but proof or patch confidence is still limited.
  • 🦪 silver shellfish: thin signal; proof, validation, or implementation needs work.
  • 🧂 unranked krab: not merge-ready because proof is missing/unusable or there are serious correctness or safety concerns.
  • 🌊 off-meta tidepool: rating does not apply to this item.

Shiny media proof means a screenshot, video, or linked artifact directly shows the changed behavior. Runtime, network, CSP, and security claims still need visible diagnostics.

How this review workflow works
  • ClawSweeper keeps one durable marker-backed review comment per issue or PR.
  • Re-runs edit this comment so the latest verdict, findings, and automation markers stay together instead of adding duplicate bot comments.
  • A fresh review can be triggered by eligible @clawsweeper re-review comments, exact-item GitHub events, scheduled/background review runs, or manual workflow dispatch.
  • PR/issue authors and users with repository write access can comment @clawsweeper re-review or @clawsweeper re-run on an open PR or issue to request a fresh review only.
  • Maintainers can also comment @clawsweeper review to request a fresh review only.
  • Fresh-review commands do not start repair, autofix, rebase, CI repair, or automerge.
  • Maintainer-only repair and merge flows require explicit commands such as @clawsweeper autofix, @clawsweeper automerge, @clawsweeper fix ci, or @clawsweeper address review.

* fix: persist Copilot SDK session bindings

Persist GitHub Copilot SDK session ids in the plugin-state SQLite store so separate OpenClaw process turns can resume the same Copilot-side session when the compatibility fingerprint still matches.

The fingerprint covers provider/model/cwd, resolved agent id, resolved Copilot home, and auth identity. Plugin-state lookup/register/delete failures are non-fatal, stale rows are invalidated, and reset delete failures use an in-process tombstone so reset does not accidentally reuse a durable binding.

Also routes the QQBot token POST through the plugin SDK SSRF guard with capture disabled for the secret-bearing request, preserving the current token lifetime validation from main.

Verification: focused Copilot and QQBot Vitest suites, raw channel fetch guard, autoreview clean, Blacksmith Testbox pnpm check:changed tbx_01kst9fwjmsfzwaxqatszcbf40, live local Copilot two-turn smoke with the same SDK session id persisted in SQLite.

* fix: keep live OpenClaw session locks during cleanup (openclaw#88129)

Keep session lock cleanup from removing live OpenClaw-owned locks solely because they are old. Cleanup now reports age-only stale locks without deleting them, while still removing dead, orphaned, recycled, malformed-old, and non-OpenClaw-owned locks.

Update doctor docs and regression coverage for the cleanup/repair contract.

* fix(agents): cap model scan timeouts

* refactor: share script budget number parsing

* fix(provider): cap operation timeouts

* fix(usage): cap provider usage fetch timeouts

* fix: bound default heartbeat run timeout (openclaw#88133)

Fixes openclaw#87438.

Bound unset heartbeat run timeouts so background heartbeat turns no longer inherit the built-in 48-hour interactive agent default. Timeout precedence is explicit heartbeat timeout, explicit global agent timeout, then heartbeat cadence capped at 600 seconds.

Verification:
- git diff --check
- Testbox tbx_01kstna69zvznn4fq7zrqr04a1: corepack pnpm test src/infra/heartbeat-runner.model-override.test.ts -- --reporter=verbose passed 13 tests
- Direct node --import tsx runtime probe verified 300s, 600s, 60s, and 45s timeout precedence cases
- Autoreview clean

Known CI state:
- PR CI run 26661465248 has failures matching latest main CI run 26661386468 at a7820b2; failures are outside this six-file heartbeat/docs diff.

* fix(signal): cap client request timeouts

* fix(feishu): cap async helper timeouts

* refactor: share script bounded response reader

* fix: move compaction planning off the event loop

Move compaction planning work to a bounded worker-thread path so large transcript planning no longer monopolizes the agent event loop. Extract pure planning helpers, sanitize worker inputs before structured clone, package the worker entrypoint, and keep synchronous fallback only for worker-unavailable cases.

Fixes openclaw#86358.

* refactor: add shared sqlite state database

* fix(codex): recover app-server completion stalls

Fix Codex app-server completion-stall recovery so replay-safe stdio completion-idle failures retry once, while progress/terminal turn-watch timeouts only surface timeout payloads.

Also preserve post-tool completion guards for scoped native response deltas and stabilize the oversized CONNECT timeout regression test picked up from latest main.

* fix(reply): hide ACP tool traces from Telegram

Telegram's surface renders tool-call traces poorly compared to Discord's. Add a
per-channel visibility isolation list (currently just `telegram`) so the
dispatch-acp delivery coordinator drops tool/status payloads to those channels
and rewrites error payloads to a sanitized message that points to local logs
instead of leaking the trace.

- New ACP_VISIBILITY_ISOLATED_CHANNELS set + helper prepareAcpPayloadForChannelVisibility
- Coordinator picks the effective target channel (originating or direct) and
skips delivery when the payload is a tool / status / error trace
- 89 lines of test coverage in dispatch-acp.test.ts for the new path
