Magnifier - Unable to move the mouse cursor #20200

@CyrilleB79

Description

@CyrilleB79

Steps to reproduce

  • Start magnifier
  • Open Magnifier options
  • Check "Keep mouse pointer centered in magnifier view"
  • Uncheck "Follow mouse"
  • Validate
  • Move the mouse

Actual behavior

The mouse cannot be moved. This is very surprising and unexpected.

Expected behavior

I am not 100% sure of the best experience here so this may be discussed. But in any case, the mouse should be movable.

I guess the best option is:

  • Upon focus / text caret / nav object / review cursor update, the mouse is recentered.
  • Upon mouse move, the keep mouse centered option is ignored, i.e. the view does not move (to honor follow mouse off) and the mouse can move away from the center of the view.
